Dear Ladies,
As we are in the midst of Fall activities with work, school, children, and the Junior League, take time and reflect on
why it is we do all the things we do. I often remind myself that if I didn’t have all these activities going on, I’d most
probably be bored with myself and spend too much time obsessing over the nick-picky details of everyday living, like
that toilet paper holder that broke last weekend or the dishes drying in the dish drain. When I’m in the midst of my
pick-ups and drop-offs of the week, I remind myself of this fact so that I keep going to get to all the things I need to get
to and do all the things I need to do. I mention this because October for our Junior League is an extremely busy
month. I’m asking that we all make the best effort we can to get to some of the JLCNB activities going on this October,
myself included. In addition to our DIAD volunteer opportunities, league office cleanup and meetings, the following
two events are most in need of your participation.
